we are looking for new dogs!

Due to the new assistant, Eva, joining our team this month we are looking for new dogs to join our walking round. Must be local (-ish), however well- (or badly-) behaved as basic training will be provided free of charge.

Lowest fee around  - £10 for an hour and a half exercise in social environment + pick-up and delivery. We walk in many beautiful and safe parks around North and North-West London regularly changing the scene, so no walk is the same. Over the years we've been attracting huge crowds and many admirers - this is how fabulous our hounds are! You can check local and national press for the Good Boys outings - or, better - come and see it for yourself, whether you are still wondering or hesitating about your dog ever learning to behave like that!

We are a phone call away: 07957 228 269. Dima.

Adopting a rescue dog is not always as easy or relaxing as a walk in the park!

Whether you are now the lucky and proud owner of a “Southridge dog”, or whether you own dog needs some training, start off on the right paw and attend our fortnightly dog training classes.

All sizes and ages are welcome.

The training classes are held every other Saturday at Southridge, beginning promptly at 9.00am and finishing at 11.00am. The classes are run by Mr Dima Yeremenko (Good Boy Dog School)

The classes will give you an opportunity to train and socialize your dog in a professional but friendly and relaxed environment. You will also be able to speak to the owners of other rehomed dogs and hear of their experiences.

PLEASE COME ALONG AND JOIN IN – YOU WILL BE BARKING MAD IF YOU DON’T!!!

Dog, Cat and Rat

Cartoon dogs

Entertainment section :)

Entertainment section:   Have a look at this and enjoy, before local "Nature Lovers" branded it cruel and banned it in the UK as it recently happened to some organisations: http://www.youtube.com/v/D85yrIgA4Nk

This is a video of a homeless man in Santa Barbara and his pets. They work State Street every week for donations. The animals are pretty well fed and are mellow. They are a  family. The man who owns them rigged up a harness for his cat so she wouldn't have to walk so much (like the dog and himself). At some juncture the rat came along, and as no one wanted to eat anyone else, the rat started riding with the cat and, often, on the cat! The dog, will stand all day and let you talk to him and admire him for a few chin crutches. The Mayor of Santa Barbara filmed this clip and sent it out as a holiday card. A great video:

How many favourite cartoon dogs can you recall? Click here and see them all... Enjoy!

'Perfect Day'

Another date for your diary:

Dear Dima,

Our  last fair was a great success and had 10,000 attendees. We thank Dima and the Good Boy Dog School for being a part of it and helping to make this possible.

The next 'Perfect Day' is on September 13th, 2009 and though it sounds  far away, it's not. So we thought we should get in touch with you now

as we hope you would like to be participate again and see if there's any thoughts you may have for this year.

As you know A Perfect Day is a London street fair on Avenue Road in Swiss Cottage  in aid of children with complex special needs in London

through the Swiss Cottage School. This facility has an abundance of awards for the work they do, but a lack of funding. This fair is put

together by volunteers in the community wanting to 'give back.'

We have done well in the past, but we need to generate more funds than ever, so our plans are growing with the kind of event this has

become. For instance, our plans are to have  a professional stage where local bands and acts will play throughout the day and even

street artists. We are the also looking for ways to make the day  even more memorable and exciting for the London community .

There's also sponsorship opportunities if you or anyone you may know would like to support us even more and this includes the opportunity to add advertising novelties or leaflets in the thousands of bags we will be giving away on the day. We will also be inviting local retailers to put a 'god parent's' or 'patron's' add in our brochure  at 50 pounds or 100 pounds.

Many thanks,

Marsha Nuriya Lee, The Perfect Day

Our Annual Doggie Boot Camp – 26th July – 1st August

Our Annual Doggie Boot Camp – 26th July – 1st August, Dates are confirmed now.

And last but by no means least – we are planning the Boot Camp, just as we did every single year since 2000. We are going to be staying on the same very field as last year, so you all know where to go, and if not – look it up – we are going to be at: Capstone Farm Country Park, Capstone Road, Gillingham, Kent, ME7 3JG. Website - http://www.medway.gov.uk/index/leisure/countryside/countryparks/2178.html

This year our plan is to focus less on Agility and Flyball, and more on Discipline and interactive games with our dogs both on-site and on country walks which are planned in the surrounding areas and at the seaside. New participants, but old and tested format, all taking in account your comments after our last camping trip. And Linda, Laura and Anna are on board! So you are in the best hands for the week of training, fun, adventure and dogs in Summer 2009! Need more info? Wish to register for updates? Just email us on dimadogs@hotmail.com

Are you an advertiser? Promoter? Manufacturer? If it is anything to do with doggie goods, please get in touch – we are inviting sponsorship offers to cover the cost of Camp’s uniforms and prises, also any goodies are appreciated, and we will give you a publicity that you might just like!
